Elite Bloodline, Limited Reps: The Arch Manning Dilemma

The nephew of Peyton and Eli steals headlines due to his lineage, but Arch has thrown only 95 college passes. How is he the top overall QB?

Manning's potential as a five-star recruit, combined with the arm strength and mobility he's shown in college, earns him the top spot. But he must improve this season.

If Manning progresses in his technique and reads, he has the physical tools to be an instant NFL starter.

With Manning's family taking his college career slowly, he may be more likely to lead 2027 rookie drafts than 2026, so don't count on getting Manning with the 1.01 as a sure thing this year.

LaNorris Sellers: Fantasy Cheat Code in the Making

LaNorris Sellers could be the next Jalen Hurts ... or the next Anthony Richardson.

At 242 pounds with 4.5 speed, Sellers has shown flashes of being a cheat-code weapon for the Gamecocks. He can throw the ball 60 yards downfield and run over DBs while breaking off big runs.

Sellers' pocket presence and decision-making still need major improvement. But if he receives top-50 draft capital, Sellers will be an instant Superflex difference-maker as a rookie.

Strong Arms, Fast Legs, and First-Round Hopes

Several other mobile QBs could emerge as top candidates in the 2026 class.

Clemson's Cade Klubnik finally reached his potential in his third year, throwing for 3,639 yards and leading Clemson to the College Football Playoff. He used his arm and legs to slice up defenses and should contend to be the top QB in the class.

Penn State's Drew Allar stands 6'5 and 235 pounds but often scrambles for extra yardage when plays break down. He rushed for 302 yards and six TDs last season. In a run-heavy offense, Allar doesn't get chances for big passing numbers, but he has intriguing physical upside.

Arizona State's Sam Leavitt impressed in his first starting season with standout games against Iowa State and Texas, rushing for a combined 93 yards and a TD. He threw 24 TDs with a strong connection to WR Jordan Tyson. Leavitt has first-round potential if he produces even more this season.

Don’t Sleep on the Pocket Passers in This QB Class

Of course, some pure passers won't add fantasy rushing numbers.

LSU's Garrett Nussmeier boasts incredible highlight-reel off-platform throws. He struggled with INTs, throwing 12, but his ball placement improved throughout the 2024 season.

Miami's Carson Beck transferred from Georgia after late-season injuries. He has big shoes to fill replacing Cam Ward, but Beck drives off his front foot with NFL-level accuracy.

Ultimately, this QB class has potential to rival 2024 and reshape the Superflex landscape.
