The Packers have placed RB A.J. Dillon on IR. He was not designated to return, meaning his 2024 season is over. This is presumably related to the stinger that had Dillon sidelined recently.
RB MarShawn Lloyd (hamstring) avoided the PUP list and is on the Packers' 53-man roster. He joins RBs Josh Jacobs and Emanuel Wilson.
Lloyd is unlikely to be an early-season fantasy factor after missing so much time in August, but Dillon's absence has the rookie's fantasy value on the rise. He's worth stashing on benches in most fantasy leagues.
Jacobs, meanwhile, figures to open the season as a workhorse. He'll be safely inside RB1 territory in our Week 1 rankings.
