After being released by the Texans, WR Noah Brown found a new home on the active roster with the Washington Commanders. Brown has had over 550 yards receiving in each of the last two seasons with the Cowboys and Texans.

        What They're Saying

Jeremy Fowler of ESPN:  WR Noah Brown signing with Commanders. Will join active roster.
        Washington gets much-needed receiver help.

        2024 Fantasy Football Impact

Brown missed most of Texans camp due to injury including both a lower-body injury then a shoulder injury. Not being able to compete on the loaded Texans WR group led to Brown's release.

After trading Jahan Dotson, the Commanders had a hole in their WR group. After Terry McLaurin, Dyami Brown, Olamide Zaccheaus, and rookie Luke McCaffrey were the only WRs left of note.

The former Ohio State product has been fairly prolific the past two seasons with the Cowboys and Texans. Last year, he earned 55 targets and caught 33 passes for 567 yards and two TDs.

Brown has a shot to emerge as the #2 WR target for the Commanders with the weak room around him. If he gets healthy and shows his talent in practice, Brown could be a sneaky end-of-the-roster player, especially in best-ball leagues.
