Dalvin Cook In Line To Play Week 8

The Cowboys plan to elevate RB Dalvin Cook from the practice squad, putting him in line to play vs. the 49ers on Sunday night, ESPN's Jeremy Fowler reports. Cook was one of the least effective runners in the league last season, averaging 3.2 yards per carry and ranking dead last among 62 qualifiers in Pro Football Focus rushing grade. So we're not banking on him emerging as a fantasy asset in Dallas. We'll see how big a role he plays in his Cowboys debut. Cook adds a little more risk to RB Rico Dowdle's Week 8 fantasy profile.
