Browns Take Mason Graham After Trade Down

After trading down from second to fifth, the Browns took DT Mason Graham in the first round of the NFL Draft. Graham totaled 18 tackles for loss and 9 sacks across three seasons at Michigan.

        2025 Fantasy Football Impact

DT doesn't tend to carry much fantasy relevance, and I'd generally like to see more production in the offensive backfield than we got from Graham at Michigan.

But Graham has some pass-rushing upside. And he checked in shy of 300 pounds at the Combine. Teams don't draft sub-300-pound DTs to tie up blockers. Cleveland clearly expects Graham to penetrate and make plays behind the line.

Expect Graham to land high among rookie DTs. He not likely to become a high-level target for redraft in 2025, though -- even in DT-specific spots.
