Giants QB Jaxson Dart threw for 193 yards and 1 TD in Sunday's loss to the Eagles. He added 17 yards and a TD on six rushes. The totality -- including no turnovers -- landed Dart 11th among fantasy QBs entering Sunday night's game, according to ESPN scoring. But a key injury could impact his scoring the rest of the way.
The Giants lost RB Cam Skattebo for the rest of the season to a dislocated ankle in Sunday's loss.
Losing your lead RB doesn't help any offense. But in this case, Skattebo has also served as a primary receiving option for Dart.
He ranked 10th among all RBs in target share from Week 4 (Dart's first start) through Week 7, drawing 12.5% of Dart's targeted passes. Skattebo snagged 18.3% of Dart's completions ahead of Sunday's game and caught 25% of his TD passes (including the loss to the Eagles).
Dart hit Skattebo for his only TD pass in this game. He probably should have had another to WR Darius Slayton early the fourth quarter, but a 32-yard scoring connection got called back for a dubious offensive-PI call.
Dart gets the 49ers and Bears the next two weeks.
