Bears QB Caleb Williams threw for just 193 yards in Sunday's win over the Vikings, with no TDs and no INTs. He fumbled once, but a teammate recovered it. Williams added 26 yards on four carries. He lost another 11-yard scramble to an illegal-formation penalty that wiped out the play.
2025 Fantasy Football Impact
Williams' 50% completion rate against Minnesota marked a season low for him and among all QBs who have faced the Vikings. It's also:
- the sixth time in the past seven games that Williams has completed less than 60% of his throws
- the sixth time in that same span that he has tossed 1 TD pass or fewer
- the second time this season that a starting QB has gone without a TD pass against the Vikings (joining Michael Penix Jr. in Week 2).
Williams has made up for a lot of those passing shortcomings in his fantasy numbers with the rushing production. But Sunday reminded just how low the floor can go when he supplies limited ground value.
The Vikings' pass rush can be tough but didn't appear overly restrictive in this one, sacking Williams twice and notching 5 total QB hits.
Week 12 holds a Pittsburgh matchup that has yielded just one TD pass to three straight QBs:
- Daniel Jones
- Justin Herbert
- Joe Flacco
After that come difficult road trips to Philadelphia and Green Bay.
