Bears TE Cole Kmet tallied a team-high 5 receptions for a team-high 45 yards in Sunday's win over the Vikings. His five targets tied for second on the team, trailing leader WR Rome Odunze by one. Kmet also beat TE Colston Loveland by one target. Loveland logged 3 catches for 40 yards in a game that saw Chicago throw for just 193 yards in all.

Kmet also beat Loveland in total snaps and pass routes, according to Pro Football Focus. Kmet ranked third among Bears at 26 routes, 72% of the team's 36 dropbacks. Loveland's 21 (58%) ranked fifth.
The game marked the second straight in which Kmet played more snaps. But Loveland led the veteran in routes last time out. And the game before that found Loveland dominating playing time in Kmet's return from a Week 8 injury
This shouldn't signal the team favoring Kmet as a receiver over the rookie. But the Bears certainly appear to favor Kmet as a blocker, and that's particularly bad news given the team's lean toward the run since the Week 5 bye.
Loveland remains the better fantasy bet between them the rest of the way. But the shared playing time limits his weekly upside and usefulness.
Kmet has only topped 31 yards one other time all season and caught just one pass in four straight before Sunday. Don't count on much fantasy value from him going forward.
