Raiders TE Brock Bowers delivered the fantasy points in Sunday's loss to the Chargers, despite limited help from his team. He caught four balls for a game-high 63 yards and the team's only two TDs. Only RB Ashton Jeanty drew more targets. Besides Jeanty and Bowers, WR Tre Tucker and WR Jack Bech were the only other Raiders to catch more than one pass.
2025 Fantasy Football Impact
Bowers' day at least included this absurd catch.
The volume is an issue, though. Bowers should be drawing more than Sunday's 17.4% target share.
It marked the second time in the past four games that Bowers had seen four targets or fewer, and this one was the first since Vegas fired OC Chip Kelly (and promoted Greg Olson).
As I mentioned, it wasn't a matter of the Raiders favoring other options over Bowers. It was the offense continuing to stink -- including the fourth straight game of Geno Smith taking at least four sacks.
Vegas' offensive limitations challenge Bowers' ceiling and floor weekly, and Week 14 holds a rematch with the Broncos. Bowers made 1 catch among just three targets in the last Denver meeting.
What Can You Do?
Even if your trade deadline hasn't already passed, trading Bowers away isn't the move here. As he showed Sunday, Bowers can deliver points even without much help from his team.
But the Raiders' limitations make it more important to enhance the upside around him in your lineup. So look for opportunities to do that, especially ahead of the Denver rematch.
