NFL Network's Tom Pelissero is told that Lions RB Jamaal Williams will start and "carry the load" vs. the 49ers today. RB D'Andre Swift is expected to be used mostly on 3rd downs, per Pelissero. That's contrary to RB Duce Staley saying earlier this week that Swift won't be on a snap count. But it's worth remembering that Swift didn't practice much in August due to groin trouble.
