Cowboys hope Gallup can practice after bye

Cowboys HC Mike McCarthy said he's "hopeful" that WR Michael Gallup (calf) can return to limited practice ahead of the Week 8 game against the Vikings, according to Michael Gehlken of The Dallas Morning News. We don't yet know if the team believes Gallup had a chance to play in that game. But it's a positive sign for his upcoming return. Dallas gets a Week 7 bye.
