Jacobs keeps proving calves don't matter

Josh Jacobs Headshot

For the 2nd straight week, Raiders RB Josh Jacobs cast aside a "questionable" tag and delivered a big game. Despite reporter warnings that the team would need to manage Jacobs' calf injury, he racked up 144 yards and a TD on 26 carries in Sunday's win over the Chargers. Jacobs is working on a streak of 3 straight 100+ yard games and hasn't logged fewer than 21 carries since Week 9. He added 2 catches for 6 yards Sunday. RBs Zamir White and Amber Abdullah combined for just 3 touches against the Chargers. Week 14 brings a matchup with a Rams defense that expects to miss Aaron Donald for the 2nd straight game. The short turnaround could challenge Jacobs' calf ... though it looks like a calf-questionable Jacobs might be the best version of him.
