The Browns have agreed to a contract adjustment for WR Amari Cooper. According to multiple sources, Cleveland has guaranteed the $20 million salary for 2024, the final year of Cooper's existing deal. He'll also get more of the money upfront than previously agreed upon, plus $5 million more available in incentives.

Cooper had held out of spring workouts in search of more money -- in some way. This adjustment clearly brought him back to the team.
That can only be a positive both for the wideout and the rest of the offense.
Cooper should certainly be better prepared for the season with more work. And his presence should be especially worthwhile for QB Deshaun Watson, who needs to rebound from a lackluster first two years in Cleveland.
The fact that Cleveland added money to the remaining year on Cooper's contract rather than extending him points to the veteran almost certainly leaving town after this season.
Considering Cooper just turned 30 in mid-June, I'd have to believe that at least points somewhat to the team not wanting to invest over the longer term.
At the least, it suggests the two sides couldn't agree on money beyond 2024.
That continued uncertainty for 2025 and beyond dings Cooper's dynasty outlook. But you're probably not getting a whole lot on the trade market for most 30+ WRs in dynasty.
Jerry Jeudy's a mild loser here. We expected Cooper to return ahead of the season. But Jeudy might have benefited from getting some practice time that didn't include the team's lead wideout.
That said, Jeudy's ADP in low-WR5 range makes him a low-risk option.
We'll see whether this news boosts Cooper's WR26 ADP (in PPR redraft leagues), but I'm not betting on a big move -- if any.
No one's excited about the Cleveland passing game. That means low-risk pricing for basically all pieces.
