Bills WR Curtis Samuel is dealing with turf toe. HC Sean McDermott said Monday that Samuel is “week to week.”
2024 Fantasy Football Impact
Buffalo signed Samuel to a deal with $15 million guaranteed over the spring. The move reunited him with Joe Brady – one of his OCs in Carolina.
The pair worked together in 2020, when Samuel notched career highs in catches (77), yards (851), and rush attempts (41).
Now, we’ll see how much time Samuel misses. But his training camp usage suggested potential WR3/FLEX fantasy value for a Bills unit in transition. Stefon Diggs and Gabe Davis remove 241 total targets from 2023.
Khalil Shakir looks like a reliable piece of this offense. But there's a wide range of outcomes on 21-year-old rookie Keon Coleman.
Dynasty Impact
Injuries once provided a key reason for Samuel's lack of dynasty appeal, but not in recent seasons. In fact, the former Commander has missed only one game from 2022-2023.
Some of that concern now creeps back up for the 28-year-old.
Projected ADP Movement
Look for Samuel's ADP to drop by a round or more in upcoming drafts. However, with a few weeks before the opener, he's certainly not a must-fade following today's news.
