The Athletic's Paul Dehner writes that "expectations are high" for Bengals TE Mike Gesicki this season. Gesicki has been lining up both inline and in the slot in camp practices.

What They're Saying

HC Zac Taylor on Gesicki: “He picked up the offense very fast. He understands the nuances and chemistry with Joe [Burrow]. Been really pleased with what he’s brought.”

2024 Fantasy Football Impact

Gesicki hasn't been a fantasy factor the past two seasons -- one in Miami and one in New England. But he was a top-12 PPR TE in each of the prior three seasons and is still only 28.

Most importantly, Gesicki finds nice opportunity in Cincinnati's pass-heavy offense led by QB Joe Burrow. With the Bengals still settling on a replacement for Tyler Boyd, Gesicki could be the team's de facto No. 3 pass-catcher at least early in the season.

He's a strong TE3 target in best-ball drafts and has a shot to emerge as a streaming option in managed leagues.
