Rookie Raiders TE Brock Bowers led the Raiders catching six of eight targets for 58 yards against the Los Angeles Chargers in Week 1. Bowers only played 68% of the Raiders' offensive snaps, but still beat out both WRs Davante Adams and Jakobi Meyers in targets and catches.

Bowers was moved all over the formation for the Raiders in their loss to the Los Angeles Chargers, including being stacked near the line, in line, out wide and in motion.
It is clear the Raiders were trying to work the ball to him in different ways, especially in the middle of the field to allow Bowers to use his after the catch ability to the offense's advantage.
Getting more targets than Adams and Meyers in his first game is no small feat. Expect Bowers snap count to increase as the season goes along and the opportunities should continue to increase as well.
He is a startable TE in most formats going forward, especially if the Raiders can get more scoring opportunities.
Next week against the Ravens could trip up the rookie however
The Ravens shut down Chiefs TE Travis Kelce pretty well on Thursday Night and will likely focus a bit on Bowers with his success in Week 1.
