DeAndre Hopkins Expected To Play More Week 2

Titans HC Brian Callahan said Wednesday that WR DeAndre Hopkins' role should increase in this weekend's game vs. the Jets. Hopkins played just 17 snaps (27%) in the Week 1 loss to the Bears, coming off his summer knee injury.

The full quote from Callahan: "Still be mindful of what we're asking as he gets in shape and he starts to feel better and better. But, yeah, I see his role increasing."

2024 Fantasy Football Impact

While Hopkins' role is set to increase, it doesn't sound like he'll be a full-go in Week 2. Throw in a brutal matchup vs. the Jets, and Hopkins should not be a starting lineups.

We'll look at his playing time and performance against the Jets before deciding whether he's a viable Week 3 play.
