Bears WR Rome Odunze avoided a potential long-term knee injury during Week 1. He has been upgraded to day-to-day from week to week. HC Matt Eberflus indicated that it was not a serious injury. Odunze may be able to play in Week 2.

Chris Emma from 670 The Score: "Matt Eberflus indicated Rome Odunze (knee) avoided a long-term absence and the Bears see him as day-to-day: 'We’re in a good spot. It’s nothing serious.'"
2024 Fantasy Football Impact
Odunze left Week 1 with a knee injury that has been diagnosed as a Grade 1 sprained MCL. Initially, he was given a week-to-week timeline, but has since been upgraded.
This is good news for the rookie as he can get back and help kickstart the Bears offense after a pretty putrid Week 1.
If Odunze does play in Week 2 he could be on a pitch count or a bit limited in snaps, especially if fellow WR Keenan Allen is back and fully healthy.
Odunze shouldn't be in starting lineups quite yet, but keep an eye on his health and status moving forward. The rookie may take over a starting spot sooner rather than later if the Bears need to lean on him more.
