Travis Kelce Held to One Catch

Chiefs TE Travis Kelce managed only 1 catch for 5 yards in a Week 2 win over Cincinnati. This marked his first game with fewer than two catches since Week 1 of 2018.

2024 Fantasy Football Impact

Patrick Mahomes attempted only 25 passes in a low-volume day (59 total plays). But it’s still jarring to see Kelce post a massive dud after going for just 34 yards in the opener.

Now, the veteran TE did have a 41-yard catch called back by offensive holding. And Mahomes clearly faced a ton of pressure in this one, so much so that the team benched rookie LT Kingsley Suamataia.

All that said -- Kelce's 3 official targets ranked behind Rashee Rice, Isiah Pacheco, and Xavier Worthy...

Interestingly, Kelce led all Chiefs pass catchers in snaps and routes run, so playing time wasn’t an issue here.

The nearly 35-year-old will be in a rebound spot vs. Atlanta in Week 3.
