Jaguars HC Doug Pederson said it's "kind of a week-to-week deal" with TE Evan Engram's hamstring injury. Engram was injured in pre-game warmups on Sunday -- after inactives were turned in -- and did not play. He has an extra day to get ready ahead of next Monday night's game vs. the Bills.
Pederson on Engram: "We'll see where he is this week. Optimistic, but we just gotta see. Hamstrings can be funny. So it's kind of a week-to-week deal right now with him."
Brenton Strange stepped in as Jacksonville's lead TE with Engram out against the Browns. The 2023 second-rounder ran a route on 72% of pass plays and caught three of six targets for 65 yards. He's not an exciting fantasy play, but he's a viable emergency option for fantasy teams hoping to wait on Engram's availability for that Monday nighter.
