DeVonta Smith Leaves with Concussion

Eagles WR DeVonta Smith left in the fourth quarter of the game at New Orleans with a concussion. That obviously means he'll miss the rest of the game and will then need to pass through the league protocol before returning.

2024 Fantasy Football Impact

The Philly passing game wasn't performing especially well at New Orleans even before Smith left the field. His absence left Jahan Dotson, Britain Covey, and rookie Johnny Wilson as the top WRs.

TE Dallas Goedert and RB Saquon Barkley are realistically the top two WRs behind Smith and A.J. Brown, though.

We'll see how Smith progresses through the week, leading up to next Sunday's visit to the Bucs. That travel could give us an early answer on whether Smith we'll play.

We'll also have to see whether Brown is ready to return from his hamstring injury. If both WRs are out for Week 4, then Jalen Hurts would slip in our QB rankings.
