Colts QB Anthony Richardson struggled against Chicago, mustering only 161 yards on 10-of-20 passing. He tossed 2 picks in the win.
Here's Richardson on his accuracy woes, per beat writer James Boyd:
“I don’t know, man. I just gotta settle down and just let the ball spin. I just gotta give myself time and give myself some grace. I’m so hard on myself when I’m missing passes out there …”
As usual, Richardson misfired on several throws a franchise QB should make. He was also picked off in the end zone.
Of course, he continued to dazzle with effortless arm strength. Right before the pick, Richardson uncorked a perfect deep ball to TE Kylen Granson.
On the ground, Richardson gained only 24 yards on 8 attempts. Two of his rushes came from the five yard-line and in.
Week 4 turns up a tough matchup vs. Pittsburgh, one that'll likely find Richardson as a lower-end QB1.
