Adam Thielen To Miss "Some Time" With Hamstring Injury

Panthers WR Adam Thielen is expected to miss "some time" with the hamstring injury he suffered in the Week 3 win over the Raiders, according to insider Jordan Schultz. "An exact timetable is currently unclear, but he will be out a little," Schultz adds.

2024 Fantasy Football Impact

Thielen was off to a nice start with QB Andy Dalton, catching three of five targets for 40 yards and a score. But he pulled a hamstring on that TD with under a minute left in the first half.

Thielen's absence should turn WRs Xavier Legette and Jonathan Mingo into something close to full-time players. They'd been splitting No. 3 WR duties.

Deep leaguers can consider stashing those guys -- we prefer Legette -- with Dalton sparking this passing game. But we wouldn't bet on either emerging as a reliable fantasy play with WR Diontae Johnson controlling targets.
