Steelers RB Najee Harris managed only 19 yards on 13 carries in Sunday's loss to the Colts. Although the final found Pittsburgh just 3 points behind, Indianapolis jumped out to a 17-0 lead before 3 minutes were gone in the second quarter. That helped Harris log just 6 first-half carries (for 5 yards). The RB boosted his fantasy line a bit with 54 yards on 3 receptions. His 6 targets ranked third on the team, behind George Pickens and Pat Freiermuth.
2024 Fantasy Football Impact
Harris' meh rushing efficiency on strong volume through the first three games fell in line with his career to date.
His putrid Week 4 production came against a Colts defense that allowed the league's most rushing yards through the first three weeks and is still going without star DT DeForest Buckner.
Harris did hurt a shoulder in Week 3 but showed no ill effects from that during the practice week.
We'll see whether this is throwaway game for Harris or motivation for coaches to shift more touches to RB Jaylen Warren once he returns to health.
Fortunately for Harris, next comes a Dallas D that currently sits 32nd in the league in run-defense DVOA, and then a Raiders D that ranks 30th.
If Warren got dumped in your league and you have a roster spot to spare, he's worth stashing.
