Packers QB Jordan Love went off for 389 yards, 4 TDs, and 3 INTs in Sunday's loss to the Vikings. His yardage, TDs, and attempts (54) all set career highs.
Love lost Christian Watson to an ankle injury early on. So, he fed Dontayvion Wicks a 25% target share form that point forward. The result: 5 catches for 78 yards and 2 TDs.
Love’s other TDs went to Tucker Kraft and Jayden Reed. But the real story here was the Vikings defense, which continued to excel generating pressure. Note that 3 of Love’s 4 TDs came in the second half, as Green Bay played from behind.
Fantasy managers were fortunate to get this type of game script. Most importantly, Love managed to avoid a major setback with his knee.
He’ll look for a more complete outing next week against a beatable Rams pass D.
