Tony Pollard, Tyjae Spears, Combine for 127 Rush Yards

Titans RB Tyjae Spears set season highs in carries (15) and yards (39) in Monday’s win over Miami. But Tony Pollard again led the backfield, this time with 88 yards on 22 carries. Tennessee lost QB Will Levis to injury in the first quarter and nursed a lead throughout the game. That produced 37 total team RB attempts.

2024 Fantasy Football Impact

Spears wasn’t efficient with 2.6 YPC (vs. 4.0 for Tony Pollard). Spears, though, showcased an awesome cut on his TD run from 7 yards out. The play came on a direct snap.

Pollard’s highlight came on a patient run through the teeth of Miami’s defense. The result: his longest run (41 yards) of the season.

We’ll see about the health of Levis, but Pollard remains the clear 1A back in Tennessee. Week 5 turns up a bye, followed by a fine divisional matchup with Indianapolis.
