Cowboys WR Brandin Cooks will miss Sunday night's game vs. the Steelers and might be out beyond that due to a knee infection, ESPN's Todd Archer reports. Cooks had a procedure on the knee after the Week 4 win over the Giants and subsequently developed an infection.
2024 Fantasy Football Impact
Cooks has looked out of gas through the first four games of the season, creating very little separation and averaging just 2.3 catches and 23 yards per game. He's droppable in all fantasy leagues.
Cooks leaves behind 4.8 targets per game. WR Jalen Tolbert could pick up some of those, but we could also just see more volume for WR CeeDee Lamb and TE Jake Ferguson.
Jalen Brooks and Kavontae Turpin figure to divvy up Cooks' snaps. Neither is a viable fantasy add right now.
