Darius Slayton Goes Nuts at Seattle

Giants WR Darius Slayton racked up 122 yards and a TD on 8 receptions in Sunday's win over the Seahawks. He drew 11 targets -- 32.4% of QB Daniel Jones' total attempts -- to lead the team, with rookie WR Malik Nabers (concussion) out.

2024 Fantasy Football Impact

This game marked just the third time in his career that Slayton has exceeded 6 receptions, with the first two coming in 2019 and 2020. The yardage total was the third-highest of his career. And it marked the first time this season he has caught more than three passes.

Slayton obviously benefited from Nabers' absence. It also didn't hurt that Seattle lost top CB Riq Woolen to injury during the game, along with several other defenders.

The Giants figure to get Nabers back for a Week 6 home date with Cincinnati. So don't expect Slayton to continue getting nearly as much attention.

But keep him in mind as a lower-level option should Nabers go down again.
