Chiefs RB Kareem Hunt managed just 59 yards and one score on 21 carries in a win over Las Vegas. He's now posted declining yards-per-carry averages in three straight games.
Here’s the good news: Hunt continues to dominate usage for a Chiefs squad missing Isiah Pacheco.
Hunt handled all but two carries, although he notched only one target, despite leading the backfield in routes (18). Samaje Perine (16 routes) and Carson Steele (two routes) combined for three targets.
Hunt also gobbled up all five of the Chiefs’ goal line carries, converting one power run for six on their opening drive.
We’ll keep an eye out for any update on Pacheco’s status. His estimated timeline could have him returning within the next few weeks, so Hunt’s fantasy managers should prepare for the possibility of a reduced role in the near future.
