Cade Otton Stays Hot vs. Chiefs

Buccaneers TE Cade Otton delivered 8 catches, 77 yards, and 1 TD against Kansas City. He saw a huge 35.4% target share – easily the best on the team.

2024 Fantasy Football Impact

Otton remained the offensive focal point with the Bucs missing Chris Godwin (ankle) and Mike Evans (hamstring). Jalen McMillan (hamstring) was deactivated on game day.

Otton came in motion and beat his man downfield for an 11-yard score. He’s now scored all four of his TDs over the past four weeks. That number also matches a career high from 2023.

As expected, his underlying usage was excellent. In fact, Otton set season-highs in targets per route run (29%) and target share (33%).

He’s now finished as a top-six TE in three straight weeks.

Mike Evans is expected to return following a Week 10 bye, and that’ll likely dampen Otton’s fantasy impact. Still, he’ll stick in TE1 range given the Bucs’ lack of WR depth.

Tampa Bay has a mid-pack TE schedule going forward.
