Quiet NFL Debut for Jonathon Brooks

Panthers RB Jonathon Brooks played only 9% of the snaps in Sunday’s close loss to Kansas City. He handled 2 carries for 7 yards.

2024 Fantasy Football Impact

Brooks was expected to be limited in his first game action since last November. But this was certainly on the low-end of his potential outcomes, especially after HC Dave Canales said he wouldn’t be on a “pitch count.”

Chuba Hubbard saw 16 carries, turning them into 58 yards and 1 score against a strong Chiefs run D. He saw all 5 RB targets.

Brooks’ role might expand down the stretch, but it won’t be because of poor play from Hubbard. Treat the rookie as an unusable fantasy piece until we see a sizable shift in work.
