Tank Dell Has Torn ACL, Dislocated Kneecap, And Other Damage

Texans WR Tank Dell has been diagnosed with a torn ACL, dislocated kneecap, and other damage in his left knee, HC Demeco Ryans said Monday. That ends Dell's 2024 season and figures to challenge his availability for the start of the 2025 campaign. We'll see when Dell has surgery and look for a timetable for return.

Dynasty Impact

Dell has now suffered this knee injury, broke his fibula, and been shot over the last 13 months. He didn't look like the same player for much of 2024 as he did before the 2023 leg injury -- and it's fair to wonder how effective he'll be when he gets back on the field next year.

The good news is that Dell is still only 25, so there's still plenty of time for him to produce for dynasty squads -- even if it's in 2026 and beyond.

We wouldn't be aggressively buying him in dynasty right now, but we also wouldn't sell low.
