Tyrone Tracy in Question for Week 17?

Giants HC Brian Daboll said Monday that RB Tyrone Tracy aggravated his ankle injury in the loss to the Falcons, according to Matt Citak of the team website.

2024 Fantasy Football Impact

Tracy dominated backfield playing time in the lopsided loss. That included playing nearly three times as many snaps as No. 2 RB Devin Singletary and logging the team's final rushing attempt with just 2:04 left in the game.

Of course, that doesn't necessarily mean the ankle will be fine for Week 17. It's possible Tracy ran on adrenaline and didn't realize the aggravation until after Sunday's game -- or even the next day.

We'll see about the rookie's practice participation and reported outlook this week.

If Tracy winds up not playing, Singletary still wouldn't carry the rookie's big-play upside. But there would be potential for a usable workload.

Keep in mind, though, that Singletary barely edged No. 3 RB Eric Gray in playing time against Atlanta: 13 snaps to 9. (Tracy played 37 snaps.)

The Giants host the Colts at 1 p.m. ET on Sunday.
