Bucs Designate Jordan Whitehead to Return

The Buccaneers have designated S Jordan Whitehead to return from IR. That opens a three-week window for deciding whether to return Whitehead to the active roster. We'll see whether he's ready to play Sunday against the Panthers.

2024 Fantasy Football Impact

The Bucs could certainly use Whitehead in a banged-up secondary that looks like it'll remain without S Antoine Winfield Jr. in Week 17 and also watched fill-in S Kaevon Merriweather leave Sunday night's game with a knee injury.

I'd need a full Whitehead practice before the weekend to trust him in any IDP lineups, though -- unless I'm digging pretty deep for options.
