Chiefs WR Xavier Worthy was arrested on assault charges. The incident occurred on Friday. Authorities declined to press charges after the incident.

What They're Saying

Will Kunkel of Fox Sports: “Former Texas star WR and Chiefs WR Xavier Worthy was arrested Friday Night in Williamson County, TX.

Charges: Criminal charge of assault against a family or household member by impeding their breathing or circulation”

2024 Fantasy Football Impact

With authorities declining to press charges, it is unlikely that Worthy will face any repercussions from the NFL.

With fellow Chiefs WR Rashee Rice also facing a possible suspension from an incident in Texas, they could ill afford any type of additional suspension.

We will update with any new reports or insights, but this will likely be the last we hear about the situation unless there is a civil case.
