WR Stefon Diggs is "ahead of schedule" in his recovery from last October's torn right ACL, ESPN's Mike Reiss hears. Diggs is running full speed and "gaining increased comfort cutting and changing direction," Reiss adds. Diggs remains a free agent but recently visited the Patriots and has been connected to the Raiders and Bills.
2025 Fantasy Football Impact
The timing of Diggs' injury figures to push his rehab right up to the start of the 2025 campaign. Consider him questionable to be ready for Week 1.
Diggs caught 47 balls across his eight games for the Texans last year. He averaged just 10.6 yards per catch -- his lowest mark since 2018 -- but that was largely due to a short 8.6-yard average target depth. Diggs registered 1.84 yards per route, which ranked 32nd among 84 qualifying WRs. And he finished seventh in ESPN's Open Score.
Now 31 and coming off a significant knee injury, there's certainly decline risk with Diggs in 2025. But that's pretty well baked into his current WR53 best-ball ADP. There's a good chance that price rises once Diggs signs with his next team.
