Kayvon Thibodeaux 'Week-to-Week' After Wrist Fracture

Giants Edge Kayvon Thibodeaux had surgery Wednesday to repair wrist fracture. HC Brian Daboll says the scaphoid bone injury leaves Thibodeaux "week-to-week," according to NFL Network's Ian Rapoport.

2024 Fantasy Football Impact

Thibodeaux has just 2 sacks through five games. He's tied for third on the team that category, ranks third in total pressures (16, according to Pro Football Focus), and sits second in QB hits (7).

Losing him hurts the Giants defense, but the unit hasn't been much of a fantasy option anyway.

His absence figures to mean more playing time for Edge Azeez Ojulari and Edge Patrick Johnson. Neither presents exciting upside for IDP leagues.

The Giants get the Bengals and Eagles the next two weeks.
