The league has suspended Lions WR Jameson Williams two games for violating the performance-enhancing substances policy, according to ESPN's Eric Woodyard.

It doesn't sound like Williams will be contesting the suspension, which will knock him out for a Week 8 home date with the Titans and Week 9 visit to Green Bay.

That'll elevate the roles of WRs Tim Patrick and Kalif Raymond. It could also boost the target share for TE Sam LaPorta, who has logged just 1 reception in two straight games.
