Browns 'Cautiously Optimistic' Quinshon Judkins Plays This Season

Browns owner Jimmy Haslam said Tuesday that he’s “cautiously optimistic” that rookie RB Quinshon Judkins will play for the team in 2025, according to Daniel Oyefusi of ESPN.

        What They're Saying

Oyefusi: “Haslam said that he’s cautiously optimistic that unsigned rookie RB Quinshon Judkins will play for the Browns in 2025 but wants to let due process play out.”

        2025 Fantasy Football Impact

Well that’s not the greatest vote of confidence.

Judkins has yet to sign his rookie contract and could be facing a suspension stemming from a domestic violence charge. As long as Judkins is away from the team, RBs Jerome Ford and Dylan Sampson will top the depth chart.

Ford has averaged 10.8 carries, 3.9 targets, 3.0 receptions and 11.9 PPR points per game in contests he’s played at least 30 snaps since 2022, always providing explosive play ability. If the veteran opens the year as the starter, he’d have top-25 fantasy football potential.

Sampson also makes for an intriguing bench stash as we wait for a resolution on Judkins.
