Unofficial depth charts really shouldn’t influence your fantasy football decisions. Once upon a time, WR Justin Jefferson was listed as the WR4 on the Vikings depth chart. The Broncos are incredibly high on Harvey, evidenced by their second-round draft investment, and the reports from camp have been glowing. What is believable, however, is Dobbins being the “starter.” This will likely be a 1A/1B situation between Dobbins and Harvey, but considering it is part of a Sean Payton offense, that’s perfectly fine. 

Since 2013, RBs have accounted for at least 20% of the targets every year Sean Payton has called plays. And over Payton’s first two seasons in Denver, the Broncos have ranked fifth and first in RB target share (21% and 32%). This past season, QB Bo Nix led the NFL with 121 backfield pass attempts, giving Harvey 50-catch upside as a rookie.
