        Amari Cooper Retiring

WR Amari Cooper has informed the Raiders that he's retiring, NFL Network reports. The decision comes just a little over a week after Cooper re-joined the team that drafted him back in 2015. It was a quick fall for Cooper, who went for 1,250 yards in 2023 before totaling just 547 yards between stints with the Browns and Bills last year.

So we're back to where we were a couple of weeks ago with the Raiders' WR corps. Jakobi Meyers, who said Wednesday that he'll play despite a desire for a new contract, is the clear No. 1. Tre Tucker and Dont'e Thorton are expected to open the season as the second and third receivers, with Jack Bech on their heels.

We'll see how the room evolves over the course of the season, but we're not betting on anyone behind Meyers emerging as a reliable weekly fantasy option. TE Brock Bowers remains the team's top target.
