Brock Purdy 'Not A Long Shot' For Week 9

49ers HC Kyle Shanahan said, "I don't think it's a long shot" when asked if QB Brock Purdy (toe) will be able to play vs. the Giants this weekend. Um, we guess we'll take that? "I think it's too early to say," Shanahan added. "I know he is doing better and we'll see how he's doing Wednesday. Hopefully if he's doing good, he'll get in some reps." Purdy has been limited in practice the past two weeks. QB Mac Jones, meanwhile, has cooled off over the last two weeks. totaling just 345 yards with two TDs and two INTs.
