Texans WR Nico Collins returned Sunday after missing Week 8 with a concussion. He led the team in targets (11), receptions (7), and receiving yards (75) despite losing C.J. Stroud to a first-half concussion.
Collins actually racked up all of that production in the first half of Sunday's game and saw just two more targets after the break.
Just one of his receptions came from Stroud. Mills, meanwhile, completed three throws to Collins on his first drive after Stroud left.
Collins matched his season high for targets and notched his second-largest reception total.
We'll see who's playing QB in Week 10, but a concussion generally means at least one lost game.
In spite of Sunday's results, we wouldn't be upgrading Collins' projection for Mills starting behind center against Jacksonville next Sunday. But that also wouldn't knock Collins out of starter territory.
