49ers QB Brock Purdy (toe) will start Sunday's game vs. the Cardinals, HC Kyle Shanahan said Thursday. Purdy's toe evidently responded well to the increased work in Wednesday's practice. It's worth remembering that Shanahan previously said that Purdy likely wouldn't be back to 100% at any point this season. Don't expect his rushing production to reach the 21.5 yards per game he averaged last year. But Purdy can still help fantasy teams the rest of the way. He tallied 277-2-2 and 309-2-2 passing lines in his only two games earlier this season. Purdy gets fine matchups the next two weeks against the Cardinals and Panthers, followed by a tougher draw vs. the Browns and then a Week 14 bye. Purdy then closes the season with three nice spots vs. the Titans, Colts, and Bears.
