One week after scoring 26 unanswered points in a come-from-behind victory over the Jacksonville Jaguars, the Texans' offense had a sluggish day against the AFC South's last-place team. However, one positive takeaway from Houston's unimpressive outing was Woody Marks' second-straight game being utilized as the team's featured back. Marks played 65.7% of Houston's snaps and commanded 18 of the Texans 21 RB carries in their 16-13 vicotry.

It wasn't a banner day for Marks or Houston's offense, but the usage was encouraging.
Marks played 46 of Houston's 70 snaps and commanded 19 touches. He only produced 51 yards but handled 86% of the backfield carries, which far surpassed last week's 64% rate.
Marks also ran 17 routes, but was only targeted once in the passing game.
Nick Chubb, who was game scripted out of Week 10's game, played just 18 snaps. Chubb only three carries but averaged 5.7 yards per tote. He ran 9 routes but failed to catch either of this 2 targets.
Chubb was limited to 10 snaps in Week 10 as the Texans were forced to abandon the run while trailing by 19 points. But in a game where the Texans were 5.5-points road favorites, Chubb saw a season-low five opportunities.
This is Woody Marks' backfield now. He's dominated playing time and touches for two consecutive games, both wins by the Texans.
The usage that Marks has earned in those two wins indicates that DeMeco Ryans and Nick Caley have confidence in their rookie RB.

In Week 12, the Texans host a Buffalo defense that allowed the seventh-most fantasy points to RBs from Weeks 1-10. The Bills just allowed Tampa Bay to rack up 202 rushing yards and 3 rushing TDs in Week 11.
Nick Chubb can be dropped in most fantasy leagues.
