Niners QB Brock Purdy threw for 200 yards and 3 TDs in Sunday's win over the Cardinals. The game marked Purdy's first action since Week 4, because of turf toe. He completed 19 of 26 passes in the lopsided victory, including a 10-of-15 first half (for 123 yards and 2 TDs). Purdy found TE George Kittle for scores from 30 and 4 yards out and hit RB Christian McCaffrey for a 9-yard score early in the second quarter.
What They're Saying
McCaffrey: "Vintage Brock, and that's a huge compliment. He was poised, made some great plays, and huge third-down throws that kept us in the game. Was smart the whole game. To miss games like that is really hard and to come back in the middle of the year and do what he did today is extremely impressive."
Kittle: "I think I've only said this about two quarterbacks. Brock's presence in the huddle is just so elite. How he talks to the players. He plays with a joy that's so infectious. It's so much fun to play football with him."
2025 Fantasy Football Impact
Mac Jones played well in relief of Purdy, but it's pretty clear that the team is happy to have Purdy back behind center.
The 41 points were the most San Francisco scored since Week 14 of 2023.
Purdy has now tossed multiple TD passes in all three of his appearances this season. His return game added the bonus of avoiding turnovers, after Purdy tossed a pair of INTs in each of his first two outings.
Purdy looks like a top-12 fantasy option for the Week 12 home date with Carolina. We'll see about a Week 13 visit to Cleveland as that one draws closer.
After a Week 14 bye, the 49ers gets non-scary matchups with Tennessee, Indy, and Chicago.
Purdy should be rostered at a rate higher than the 61% he was on Sleeper as of Sunday night.
