Eagles RB Saquon Barkley rushed for 78 yards and a TD in Sunday's lopsided win over the Raiders. His 22 carries marked the second straight game of 20+ and fourth 20+ carry outing among six games since the team's bye. Barkley added 14 yards on 2 receptions among three targets, ranking second on the team in that last category on a day that found Jalen Hurts attempting only 15 passes.

You can't really complain about a productive outing like that for a guy who has struggled so much relative to last year. But Sunday's performance also rated closer to disappointing than encouraging.
Barkley didn't register a 10-yard run until his final two attempts of the day. He finished the third quarter with gains of 17 and 11 yards before turning the backfield over to Tank Bigsby.
That means Barkley reached that point with a mere 51 rushing yards across his first 20 carries. That's 2.6 yards per rush -- and 3.5 for the full game -- against a Raiders D that entered Sunday allowing 4.2 per carry to RBs for the season.
That, of course, aligns with the way that Barkley's year has gone. It also cools any excitement than his big game against the Chargers signaled any positive shift.
Barkley gets strongly positive RB matchups at Washington and at Buffalo the next two weeks. So he remains an unexciting fantasy play but a guy who almost certainly belongs in your lineup.
Bigsby finished Sunday's game with 57 yards on 17 carries.
