Bucs WR Antonio Brown (ankle) remained sidelined for Wednesday's practice. The Athletic's Greg Auman spotted Brown with a crutch. That certainly doesn't sound like a guy in line to play vs. the Saints this weekend -- especially with Tampa getting a Week 9 bye. With Brown out last week, WR Chris Godwin saw 11 targets and WR Mike Evans 10.
Bucs WR Antonio Brown (ankle) is out for Sunday's game vs. the Bears. We still don't have any details on Brown's injury, but the fact that he didn't practice at all this week makes him seem iffy for Week 8. It's worth noting that Tampa Bay has a Week 9 bye. Brown's absence on Sunday should elevate WR Tyler Johnson to the #3 spot on the depth chart. He's still just a DFS tournament flier. WRs Mike Evans and Chris Godwin should soak up extra targets with Brown out.
Bucs WR Antonio Brown (ankle) missed his 2nd straight practice on Thursday. He appears to be in real danger of missing this weekend's game vs. the Bears. Brown's absence would move WR Tyler Johnson up into the #3 spot on the depth chart -- and mean more targets for WRs Mike Evans and Chris Godwin.
Bucs WR Antonio Brown missed Wednesday's practice with a sprained ankle. It's the 1st we've heard of the injury, but Brown's availability for this weekend's game vs. the Bears is now in at least some doubt. Check back tomorrow for another update on his status.
Bucs WR Antonio Brown (COVID) is active for tonight’s game vs. the Patriots. He’s already showed us his range of outcomes this season, exploding for a 5-121-1 line in the opener before a 1-17 Week 2 dud. Brown could pick up an extra target or 2 tonight with TE Rob Gronkowski out.
Bucs WR Antonio Brown was activated from the COVID list and is expected back for Sunday night’s game vs. the Patriots. Brown should pick up some extra work in that one with TE Rob Gronkowski unlikely to play.
Bucs WR Antonio Brown is set to be activated from the COVID list on Thursday, HC Bruce Arians said. So Brown should be back for Sunday night's game vs. the Patriots. We'll continue to keep an eye on the situation.
Bucs WR Antonio Brown (COVID) is officially inactive for today’s game vs. the Rams. We’re expecting Scotty Miller and Tyler Johnson to split #3 WR duties. Neither guy can be trusted in fantasy lineups. Chris Godwin, Mike Evans and Rob Gronkowski should all pick up extra targets with Brown out.
Bucs WR Antonio Brown (COVID) didn't travel with the team to Los Angeles and is out for Sunday's game against the Rams, ESPN's Adam Schefter reports. When Brown missed last year's NFC Championship, Scotty Miller and Tyler Johnson split #3 WR duties. Miller ran a route on 53% of pass plays and saw 3 targets; Johnson registered a 32% route rate and 2 targets. Unless we get more clarity on the situation, neither guy can be trusted in fantasy lineups. Mike Evans, Chris Godwin and Rob Gronkowski should pick up extra volume with Brown out.
Bucs WR Antonio Brown remains on the COVID list as of Friday night and is expected to miss Sunday's game vs. the Rams, according to insider Greg Auman. When Brown missed last year's NFC Championship, WRs Scotty Miller and Tyler Johnson basically split #3 WR duties. Neither guy can be trusted in fantasy lineups.
