        11:31am UTC 10/9/22

Bucs WR Julio Jones (knee) is inactive for today’s game vs. the Falcons, as expected. WR Breshad Perriman (knee, hamstring) is also out.

        Gage, Godwin & Jones active

        6:54pm UTC 10/2/22

Bucs WRs Russell Gage (hamstring), Chris Godwin (hamstring) and WR Julio Jones (knee) are active for tonight’s game vs. the Chiefs. They all figure to be operating at less than 100% – and it’s unclear exactly how snaps will be divvied behind WR Mike Evans. We’d try to avoid the 3 of them if possible, but Gage sits highest in the Week 4 WR Rankings. WR Breshad Perriman is inactive with his knee and hamstring injuries, while WR Scott Miller is a healthy scratch.

        Brady quiet in loss

        7:05am UTC 9/26/22

Bucs QB Tom Brady finished Week 3 with 271 yards and 1 TD on 31 of 42 passing. Playing without Chris Godwin (hamstring), Mike Evans (suspension) or Julio Jones (knee), Brady watched WRs Breshad Perriman and Russell Gage lose fumbles. Gage did score the team’s lone TD late in the 4th, but the 2-point conversion — to send the game into OT — was unsuccessful. Considering the WR injuries and the banged up O-line, Brady’s performance was actually encouraging. Evans will return for Week 4 (vs. Kansas City) but Jones and Godwin remain uncertain.

        Gage & Perriman active

        3:00pm UTC 9/25/22

Bucs WR Russell Gage (hamstring) is active for today’s game vs. the Packers. He got in just 2 limited practices this week, so it’s safe to assume he’s not at 100%. But the Bucs need him with WRs Mike Evans, Chris Godwin and Julio Jones out. Gage is in the WR3 mix for Week 3. WR Breshad Perriman is also active for Tampa.

Gage & Perriman expected to play Week 3

        7:01am UTC 9/25/22

Bucs WRs Russell Gage (hamstring) and Breshad Perriman (knee) are expected to play vs. the Packers today, according to ESPN's Adam Schefter. Gage didn't practice on Friday after limited workouts on Wednesday and Thursday, but it looks like that was a planned day off. Perriman got in 3 limited practices after playing through this knee issue last week.

        Perriman questionable for Week 3

        4:08pm UTC 9/23/22

Bucs WR Breshad Perriman (knee) was limited in practice all week and is listed as questionable for Sunday's game vs. the Packers. He was in the same spot last week before posting a 3-45-1 line on a 75% snap rate. Perriman figures to play a bunch again this weekend with all of Tampa Bay's WR injuries.

        8:02pm UTC 9/22/22

Bucs WRs Chris Godwin (hamstring) and Julio Jones (knee) remained sidelined on Thursday. They're both looking unlikely to play vs. the Packers this weekend. WR Scotty Miller (calf) was a full-go on Thursday; WR Breshad Perriman (knee) was limited.

        8:16pm UTC 9/21/22

Bucs WRs Chris Godwin (hamstring) and Julio Jones (knee) did not practice on Wednesday. Jones seemingly has a better chance than Godwin to play vs. the Packers this weekend. But, with WR Mike Evans suspended, Tampa could be down to WRs Russell Gage, Breshad Perriman and Scotty Miller atop the depth chart.

        Different wideouts emerge for Bucs

        2:00pm UTC 9/19/22

With Chris Godwin and Julio Jones inactive Sunday, the Buccaneers turned to WRs Scotty Miller (8), Russell Gage (6) and Breshad Perriman (5) as the top 3 in targets. Gage caught 5 balls for 28 yards, increasing his usage vs. Week 1. Miller and Perriman caught just 3 balls apiece, with Perriman's 28-yard TD the highlight among them. Mike Evans got ejected for fighting after a 3-61 receiving line on 4 targets, and the league has suspended him for 1 game. Barring a successful appeal, Tampa Bay might need to lean on the same pack in Week 3 against Green Bay. We'll see about Julio Jones' health as well.

        Evans suspended 1 game

        12:35pm UTC 9/19/22

Bucs WR Mike Evans has been suspended 1 game for his role in Sunday's fight with the Saints, according to NFL Network's Ian Rapoport. Evans is considered a repeat offender after getting ejected from a game and suspended for fighting back in 2017. We'll see if Evans appeals this ruling, but fantasy owners need to plan on being without him in Week 3 for now. We'll see if WRs Julio Jones (knee) and/or Chris Godwin (hamstring) can make it back for Sunday's game vs. the Packers. If not, the Bucs will be down to WRs Russell Gage, Breshad Perriman and Scotty Miller.

Evans leads limited Bucs passing game

        8:30pm UTC 9/12/22

Tom Brady went just 18 of 27 passing for 212 yards, 1 TD and 1 INT in Sunday night's win over the Cowboys. WR Mike Evans led the group in playing time, targets, catches and yards and caught the lone TD. He supplied a solid 5-71-1 receiving line on 5 looks. WR Julio Jones trailed Evans by just 1 route and finished 2nd with 5 targets. WR Russell Gage checked in 3rd among WRs in usage, with Breshad Perriman close by in a game that saw Chris Godwin injure a hamstring. TE Cameron Brate also played a big role, though he drew just 3 targets. We'd bet on more from this passing offense going forward, even if Godwin misses further time. We'd also bet on Gage's role expanding as he moves further away from his hamstring ailment.

        Bucs bring back Perriman

        11:24am UTC 3/16/22

The Bucs re-signed WR Breshad Perriman to a 1-year deal, according to ESPN's Adam Schefter. Perriman appeared in 6 games for Tampa last season, catching 11 balls for 167 yards and a score. He'll battle the likes of Scotty Miller, Tyler Johnson, Cyril Grayson and Jaelon Darden for scraps behind Mike Evans, Chris Godwin and Russell Gage this year.

        Brown done with the Bucs

        4:20pm UTC 1/2/22

Bucs HC Bruce Arians said after Sunday's win over the Jets that WR Antonio Brown's time with the Bucs is over. That's not a surprise after Brown removed his jersey and left the field in the middle of the 3rd quarter. But it's still a massive loss for a Bucs offense that is also without WR Chris Godwin for the rest of the season. That leaves Breshad Perriman, Cyril Grayson and Tyler Johnson as the top WRs behind Mike Evans. Evans and TE Rob Gronkowski should be the focal points of the passing game in Week 18 and the playoffs.

Bucs elevate Perriman, Fells for Sunday

        4:10pm UTC 11/13/21

The Buccaneers have elevated WR Breshad Perriman and TE Darren Fells from the practice squad for Sunday's game against Washington. Neither figures to be much of a fantasy factor. The Perriman move might be a bad sign for Chris Godwin's chances of playing, though. Fells' addition crowds a TE situation that leaves no clear answer for fantasy lineups.

Godwin out Wednesday with foot injury

Bucs WR Chris Godwin missed Wednesday's practice with a foot injury. HC Bruce Arians didn't provide any other details, only saying that they'll need to "wait and see" on Godwin's Week 10 status. Tampa notably signed WR Breshad Perriman to the practice squad earlier this week after he spent 2019 with the team. We'll get another update on Godwin on Thursday.

        Bears add Perriman

        1:09pm UTC 9/1/21

The Bears signed WR Breshad Perriman, ESPN's Adam Schefter reports. The fact that Perriman couldn't make the Lions' roster says a lot about where his game is at. So despite opportunity in Chicago behind WRs Allen Robinson and Darnell Mooney, Perriman isn't an appealing fantasy target.

        Lions cut Perriman

        7:08am UTC 8/30/21

The Lions have released WR Breshad Perriman. It's not a shocking move after an offseason and camp that provided only negative reports on the veteran wideout. But Detroit did guarantee $2 million on the 1-year, $2.5 million deal Perriman signed this offseason. Cutting him despite having to pay that money highlights how poor a summer Perriman has had. Tyrell Williams, Quintez Cephus and Amon-Ra St. Brown seem likely to run as the top 3 wideouts in Detroit. We'll see exactly how the group shakes out as the Lions get down to their 53-man roster by Tuesday.

Update: Lions insider Jeff Risdon tells us that WR Kalif Raymond is the favorite for the outside spot opposite Tyrell Williams. Neither Raymond nor Cephus is worth a spot on fantasy rosters.
