Dak Prescott Fantasy Football News | Shark Bites

Shark Bites are the latest fantasy football news & NFL updates. Draft Sharks has been in business since 1999. And when we started, redraft was the dominant form of fantasy football. Check out what we've learned about this most basic form of fantasy football along the way.

Cowboys QB Dak Prescott is not expected to be limited at the open of training camp. “I see for him to be a full participant,” HC Mike McCarthy said on Wednesday. “It’s still a projection. We’ll see how it goes. Obviously, we’ll watch it.” Dak, who suffered a compound right ankle fracture on October 11, was held out of team drills in OTAs. We’ll keep an eye on the ankle, but with a loaded supporting cast, Prescott's positioned to tally top-5 fantasy totals.

According to Jon Machota of The Athletic, Cowboys QB Dak Prescott appears “on track” to be a “full participant” in training camp. Machota observed Dak moving well in OTAs, all while “never seeming to favor his surgically repaired right ankle.” HC Mike McCarthy added the following: “Physically, I think he’s right where he needs to be. He’s done everything. He hasn’t missed anything that’s been slated. He’s doing a lot of extra, frankly, so the anticipation would be for him to go every day (in training camp) is the outlook. We’re not naïve. It’s just like any player that comes back from injury, especially a major joint injury, the first year back there’s going to be some things you have to work through. But I would anticipate we’d start with him in full mode, get him into the team periods and get back to playing football.” Prescott, almost 28, remains a high-ceiling QB1.

Cowboys HC Jason Garrett confirmed to ESPN's Ed Werder that he won't rest starters in tonight's game against the Lions. Dallas has clinched the NFC's #1 seed and could limit or hold out some guys in the regular-season finale. But doing so tonight would mean 3 weeks off between games. QB Dak Prescott, RB Ezekiel Elliott, WR Dez Bryant and TE Jason Witten are all safe to use in Week 16 fantasy lineups.

ESPN's Adam Schefter confirms that Cowboys WR Dez Bryant (knee) is not expected to play against the 49ers on Sunday. He's likely looking at a multi-week absence. We've removed Bryant from the Week 4 Rankings, lowered QB Dak Prescott and given bumps up to Cole Beasley, Terrance Williams and Jason Witten.
